Casa la Sultana is a beautifully designed villa that was built in 2018, on a private street in the colonial town of Granada. Inspired by the riads of Marrakech, La Sultana is a perfect example of a successful juxtaposition of different styles, from the Moroccan enclosed courtyard, the colonial cement tiles and furniture, and Turkish fabrics and kilim rugs. Every object, lamps, and piece of furniture was meticulously researched and designed and made by local artisans. The villa has an eclectic world décor mixed with colonial accents that is unique in Central America. The ground floor of the house has an outdoor living room, dining area and kitchen that face a lushly planted courtyard in a Marrakech riad style, as well as an airconditioned bedroom with en suite bathroom. Three more air-conditioned bedrooms -each with their own private bathroom- are located on the second floor, which also features a terrace with views of the Granada cathedral and the Mombacho volcano. The villa is built around a private pool with custom tile design. The large built-in sunbeds are surrounded by tropical plants, and a separate shower and toilet are conveniently located next to the pool. Casa La Sultana comes fully equipped and furnished.
